Rob Logsdon *Coach of the Year*
Wolfpack golf is poised for greatness in 2012. Coach Rob Logsdon and coach Jim Schaible have built a tradition of consistency year in and year out and made Glacier one of the top programs in the state. They will be assisted once again by volunteers Jack Higl, Mike Hodges, Jeff Sherrill and Kevin Aurch.
The girls are led by returning seniors Shea Stevens, Kaydee Aurich, and Hannah Davis. Davis returns after a successful 2011 campaign which garnered her all-state honors. All three girls improved tremendously last year, shaving about 10 shots per round off their scoring averages, and all are aiming to finish in the top 10 at state this season. Cynthia Gilbertson, Erica Duffy, Jenni Rasmussen, Darian Wood, Leah Biachi, Katelynn Williams, Ali Holst, and Jackie Stenberg also return. Gilbertson is a junior who has improved tremendously since her freshman season. Freshman Teigan Avery comes in with an abundance of regional and national experience. They should compete well against Bozeman, Billings West, and CMR which are expected to be the elite teams in the state.
The boys are led by senior veterans Ryan Porch and Logan Iverson. Both are four-year varsity players and among the top five junior golfers in Montana, and have competed well at the regional and national level. Logan has placed in the top 10 at the state tournament each of the last three years and Ryan was the state runner-up each of the last two years. This summer Logan won the prestigious Barnett Memorial Tournament and Ryan won the Montana Junior Amateur Championship. They are also great young men who represent the community and school with good sportsmanship and gracious attitudes. They are expected to be the two best golfers at the state tournament this year. Seniors Dillon Eaves and Austin Hilde are exceptional talents who will provide a significant impact to this year's team also, as well as junior Kevin Talcott who is an experienced varsity player with an unparalleled work ethic. Kevin and classmate Greg Jones are great leaders. Sophmore Cody Sherrill is one of the top junior golfers in Montana. With all this talent, Glacier has a great chance to defeat Billings West, Bozeman, and Billings Senior for the state championship this year
